Thank you for
honoring the career and achievements of
Professor Harry Hurt. For those of
you
wishing to make
a small demonstration of support in memory of Professor Hurt, I will
suggest two charitable organizations.
The
choice is up to
you based upon your assessment of which category, motorcycles or medical
research is more appropriate.
The first would
be a contribution to the
American
Motorcycle Association's Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum.

Professor Hurt
was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2008 and he always considered it a
great honor.
The online
contribution menu allows you to name Professor Hurt as your donation
"in memory of".
The Museum is
doing an excellent job preserving the heritage of what Harry loved best -
motorcycling.
The second
suggestion would be the American Heart Association.

The Hurt/Hall
family has a long history of heart disease, and Harry struggled with an
illness that killed
most of his
relatives including his mother. That
he lived to the age of almost 82 is a credit to the
life-saving
science and medicine supported by the American Heart Association.
